Experience of Recruitment / Education and / Or Experience of What You Do
I joined Aspire People after deciding sixth form wasn’t for me, subsequently I had no previous experience in the educational recruitment industry. Having recently joined Aspire People as a Compliance Administrator Apprentice, I continue to receive the necessary training to carry out my job role in the most effective manner.
What Do You Do at Aspire People?
As a Compliance Administrator, I am one of the initial contacts that anyone visiting the office may have hence I make it my aim to create the best first impression possible. In terms of the processes involved in compliance, we obtain references for candidates and carry out legal and identification checks such as DBS Barred List Checks in order to ensure that all our candidates are the most suitable to work in the place of education they are assigned to.
What Do You Get a Kick out of in Your Role?
I get great job satisfaction from knowing that our candidates are all the most appropriate for the job and will provide a quality service to whichever place of education Aspire People assign them to, whether that is on a long term or short term basis. I also enjoy being the initial contact with our candidates etc. As I can work hard to give them a professional impression of a company that I am proud to work for.
What Would Your School Report Say?
My school report would likely say that I’m a bright and hardworking lad that lacks confidence in certain areas but can be cheeky and talk too much when he gets comfortable around others. But this would depend on the lesson, subject and teacher.
