How Do I Get Paid on Time?

Here at Aspire People we know how important it is that you get paid on time. Our candidates love that we have an internal accounts department who make sure that our processes are smooth and flexible. Pay day is every Friday, a week in arrears. If you follow the steps below you will get paid on time every week:

1. Download the timesheet

2. Fill out the form and get the cover coordinator to sign it

3. Ensure we get the timesheet before Monday 10am via timesheets@aspirepeople.co.uk

4. A different timesheet must be filled in for every school

How Do I Check My Payslips?

At Aspire People we like to save paper so don’t post out payslips, however you can
log on whenever you like to view and print payslips out.

Access your payslip’s via our online portal here

1. Enter your username (if you don’t know what this is as soon as you start working for
   us you will get your username emailed to you)

2. Enter in your password (again you will be sent sent this when your account is activated)

How Can I Download My P60?

1. Firstly, log on to the online portal. Enter your
   username <first-name> <Last-name> then the password you have chosen
   from the first time you logged in

2. There are three tabs on the top menu once logged
   in: Home – Payslips – Change Details

3. Select Payslips

4. Once on this screen there is a P60s button
   highlighted, click on P60s it will take you further down the page then Click
   the pdf button to view/print your P60.

​How Do I Claim My Holiday Pay?

1. Email holiday@aspirepeople.co.uk with the value and pay date.

Please be aware that it is not advised to take holiday in term time because of school needs.

Sick pay

Our supply staff are eligible to claim Statutory Sick Pay(SSP). This is paid at the statutory rate and of course the statutory qualifying conditions apply. You will have to meet the qualifying earnings limit set by HMRC. Further information can be found here but please note it is paid:

• When an employee/contractor/worker is sick for 4 days in row

• For the days an employee normally works – called ‘qualifying days’

• In the same way as wages, for example on the normal payday, deducting tax and
  National insurance

Maternity Pay

Maternity Pay(SMP) is paid at the HMRC approved Statutory Maternity Pay rate. To qualify for SMP you must:

•  Earn on average at least £118 a week

• Give the correct notice

• Give proof you’re pregnant

• Have worked for Aspire People continuously for at least 26 weeks
  continuing into the ‘qualifying week’ - the 15th week before the expected week of childbirth.

If you are not eligible for Statutory Maternity Pay you can fill in an SMP1 form

What If I Want to Get Paid Through an Umbrella Company?

We work with various Umbrella companies, though we need to have audited them. Your Aspire consultant can discuss this with you in more detail.
