Rec Accredited Safeguarding

We are proud our compliance process is accredited by the REC and CCS. This means that we follow a strict set of guidelines set out by the Government and are audited annually by the REC to ensure we are following the guidelines. This also allows us to be a Crown Commercial Service Supplier, so when you chose Aspire People for your recruitment needs you are sure to be in safe hands and can rest assured that we have done everything to ensure the teachers and support staff working in our school are safe to do so.

Safer Recruitment for Supply Staff

Our staff undergo the same vetting procedures no matter whether they are teaching or not. Checks include face-to-face interview, DBS, references, right to work and identity checks. All staff sign a copy of Aspire People’s code of conduct, which maintains high standards of service. All staff are issued with a photographic safeguarding document, emailed over as part of the booking confirmation.

All safeguarding documents have been sent promptly and contains all the
information needed. I would highly recommend Aspire People to other schools.You can be sure that Aspire People have gone to great lengths to ensure that children, schools, nurseries, colleges and the staff that work inside them are protected.

A Position of Trust

Everyone who works for Aspire People, whether they are a recruitment consultant, manager or administrator holds a position of trust. We take this position of trust extremely seriously and ensure that Aspire People employees are both principled and thorough surrounding the part they play to safeguarding children. All employees that join Aspire People are firstly DBS checked, then they
undergo a week’s induction, this involves a whole module on safer recruitment and child protection. This enables them to understand the importance of child protection in their own role but also advise others that they work with around issues involving safer recruitment. After the induction period employees are assessed on their knowledge and only pass their induction if they pass their assessment.
