Before joining, I worked at TeacherActive for 2 years starting as a SEND Resourcer, supporting a team of 10 experienced consultants, running 50-350 day desks. I won Resourcer of the Year at the AGM Awards in 2020. I was then promoted to resourcer Plus in November 2020. ​

What Do You Do at Aspire People?​

I work as a Trainee Consultant on the SEND desk. I place Teaching Assistants and Teachers in SEND schools.

What Do You Get a Kick out of in Your Role?​

Working in education recruitment can be challenging but, the awards and results feel exciting and energizing. The emotion I go through when filling a booking in one of my schools that trusts me is second to none, especially when the candidate has done an excellent job and is asked to go back.

What Would Your School Report Say?

Haha, my school report would probably say I was the class clown but in lessons I had a passion for, I got my head down and worked hard.
