Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs and interests of Year 6 students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure their involvement in their child's education journey.
Fulfill all duties expected of a qualified teacher, including administrative tasks and participation in school events.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching Year 6 or upper primary classes is preferred.
A passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Must have an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through our partner agency, Aspire People.
