I am currently recruiting for a small, one-form entry primary school in Wednesbury. The school are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher with experience planning and delivering for Year 2 SATS. The position is to start in September 2020 and will be until July 2021 (there may be permanent opportunities in September 2020).
This role is critical in delivering SATs results successfully and to the expected standard. For this reason, NQTs will not be accepted for this position and the school require a minimum of 2 years teaching, ideally within Year 2.
As a full time Year 2 teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected;
«Teach Year 2 lessons across the whole of the National Curriculum.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
«Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & staff meetings.
