SEND Learning Support Assistant - Wolverhampton - ASAPAre you an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant with special needs experience, looking to make a positive difference?
I am currently recruiting for a Special school in Wolverhampton that are looking to appoint a new SEND Learning Support Assistant with special needs experience to join their team. The positions are on a long-term basis with a view to go permanent for the right person.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working alongside the class Teacher and other Teaching Assistant's supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy, and engaged.
The school caters for children with complex needs, challenging behaviour, autism, and social, emotional mental health.
The successful candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with special educational needs and disabilities. You will need to be empathetic and driven.
I am happy to be working with this school as they really care about their pupils and staff. It is a very large school and they have so many facilities for their pupils. There are many SEND Learning Support Assistant's employed in the school and everyone has a really good work ethic.
