Do you enjoy working on a one-to-one basis with children with specific educational needs?
Aspire People are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with a Year 6 pupil who is partially sighted. This role is an immediate start and will be on-going. We are working with a lovely primary school in Brewood and the school are looking for a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant who has previous experience in SEN and is passionate about children with special needs.
The ideal candidate:
*Hold the relevant qualification
*Long term (an academic term or more) experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis
*SEN experience
*Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
*Confident in communicating with the SENCO, leadership team and parents
*Be able to encourage, motivate and support children
*Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive and achieve targets set in line with their individual education plan's (IEP)
