Job description
Are you a qualified 1-1 Learning Support Assistant based in South Birmingham?I am currently recruiting exceptionally talented social, emotional mental health Learning Support Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis alongside secondary aged students with challenging behaviour and social, emotional mental health. This position is a full time, long term role for the correct Learning Support Assistants.
The pupils have all different needs and abilities, some may find it difficult to socialise and struggles with change. The pupils have autism related anxieties around transition, routines and social interaction.
Having worked with this school for over 2 years, I have built a trusting rapport with the Business Manager and I know that they are very passionate, caring and dedicated to their staff and students.
You'll bring at least 2 years' experience as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, Children's Residential Worker or Youth Worker working either 1:1 or in a group, as well as a want to make a huge, positive impact on the student you work with. Your experience and qualifications and motivation will help each child, Teacher and school reach their plans of becoming the best.
