Job Role- English Teacher for a Secondary School in PeterboroughLocation: Peterborough
Position: English Teacher
Contract: Full-time, Long term

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and make a real impact on their literacy development, as well as nurturing a love of literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*Plan and implement engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
*Encourage student participation and foster a positive learning environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues within the English department to enhance curriculum delivery.
*Support extracurricular activities such as school drama productions, literary clubs, or writing workshops.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a closely related subject.
*Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4)
*A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to create engaging lessons and build rapport with students.
*Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to teaching and classroom management.
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
