Job description
Behaviour Lead - Behaviour, Autism and SEMH - Kidderminster - Jan 2022.Are you experienced with challenging behaviour and wanting to make a positive difference?
I am currently recruiting for a behavioural school in Kidderminster that are looking to appoint a new Behaviour Lead with challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD and social emotional mental health experience to join their team. The positions are a full time, long term position as the school and student's need security. They are seeking people that are graduates, Level 2/3 qualified, Team teach qualification and have experience of working with SEMH children in a behavioural school. This position would be good for someone with a sporty background or previous youth worker experience.
As a Behaviour Lead you will be expected to encourage and motivate the student's if they leave the classroom. You will need to report if a child walks out of a classroom to the Senior Leadership team.
The school caters for secondary aged children with a wide range of needs including Autism, learning difficulties ADHD and social emotional mental health.
The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEMH. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
I have built a strong and trusting relationship with the staff at the school and have taken the time to learn their needs. There are many staff employed in the school and everyone has a really good work ethic.
