Job Vacancy: Secondary School Art TeacherLocation: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract Type: Long-term, Ongoing Supply
Start Date: ASAP (for the new term)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Aspire People are a leading UK education recruitment agency, based in Newcastle under Lyme. We are currently seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher for a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through the arts and foster their creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons to students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Encourage students to explore different art techniques and media
Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of education and student development
Maintain an inspiring and creative classroom environment
Help organize and support art-related school events and exhibitions
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience teaching Art at secondary level
A strong portfolio of art and creativity, with a passion for inspiring students
Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
