Job description
Are you an experienced 1-2-1 Learning Support with SEN experience looking for a new challenge?I am currently recruiting for 1:1 Specialists who are based in Rugby to work with a range of local Primary schools. The positions available will allow you to work with a variety of Special Educational Needs & lower-level ability children who need dedicated consistent individuals to support them during their time in the classroom. I am looking for experienced support staff who can encourage, motivate and support children so they can access the curriculum with ease. The children you will be supporting may demonstrate disruptive & challenging behaviour which is why we need confident learning support who are able to engage with the children and keep them on task.
The ideal candidate:
*Relevant qualifications or long-term experience of working with children on a one to one basis
*SEN experience covering Autism and lower-level ability
*Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
*Confident in communicating with the SENCO, leadership team and parents
*Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive and achieve targets set in line with their individual education plan's (IEP)
*Meticulous when it comes to completing IEPs to ensure everything is covered and the child's accomplishments are recorded and rewarded
*Provide references
*Complete Enhanced DBS check
