What is a Cover supervisor ?
A cover supervisor is an unqualified teacher that covers lessons in short term roles whilst the class teacher is absent. The day-to-day role of a cover supervisor would simply entail in them teaching the class from a lesson plan set in the absence of the teacher.

We recruit lots of graduates who are keen to get into teaching and gain experience, however some are not ready to apply for a PGCE, so we help them to gain experience and understand what teaching is like in order to aid their SCITT application.
