Aspire People And The Midlands Education Awards

Friday 5th July will bring industry and education together as one and celebrate the ‘unsung heroes’ of the Education Sector at the Education Awards 2019! With over 400 guests and an exciting celebrity line-up, we predict that these awards will be exciting, emotional and of course ‘educational’

We are absolutely honoured to be sponsoring not one but two awards including Teacher/Lecturer of the Year and Outstanding Support for Students.

You all know how passionate we are about celebrating fantastic achievements within the Education Sector so it made sense to us that we sponsor awards that really recognises the hardworking staff in schools, colleges and universities.

The finalists have been announced and we’re very excited to see a list jam-packed with schools, universities, colleges, lecturers and teachers.

Our Director, Michaela Powell recently spoke about the awards saying:

“These fantastic awards have been long overdue and it’s a great time to celebrate successes with people we know. These educators go above and beyond every day, for no other reason than they want to do their best in helping our future generation. That in itself is heart-warming and reminds us that life is about making a difference. Aspire People will always support a positive change in the education sector.”

Whilst our Sales Director, Kelly Steadman described the awards as “a fabulous recognition for the hard work that often goes unnoticed in the education sector” and our Operations and HR Director, Daniel Dawkinssaid “When I heard about these awards I knew we had to be a part of them. They are amazing for the education sector and being a sponsor was an easy decision to make.”

We caught up withJas Rohel, Founder and CEO of the Education Awards to find out what she’s looking forward to the most about the very first Education Awards:

“The real unsung heroes are the people that work in education, and nobody celebrates this. They put an immense amount of work in throughout the year and deserve recognition.

With teachers for example, it’s not just teaching that they do, they are social workers and parents, they take on all these roles in one.

When I’m thinking about the awards, I’m thinking about that one teacher that I really, really liked, who made a massive impact on me. We all know a teacher that has made a massive impact in our lives, who we wish we could go back and give an award to. These awards, to me, mean change.

On the night we’ve got a 50/50 split of industry sponsors and educational establishments in one room. We’re on the brink of the collaboration where industry embed themselves within the education sector. That change will bring lots of ways that we can up-skill the students of today to get them work-ready for tomorrow”

We know you’re as excited as us, so keep an eye out on our Twitter page throughout the night where you’ll get exclusive insights into the night as we celebrate education together!
