NQT Opportunities are Available now
What is an NQT?
A Newly Qualified Teacher is a teacher that has just completed their SCITT qualification and have gained QTS (qualified teacher status). The NQT title will be held until the student completes their induction year, once this has been completed they will then get a fully qualified teacher title.
NQT's will usually look to complete their induction year with one school within a year of them completing their SCITT however, their are various ways that an NQT can become a qualified teacher. An NQT can complete their induction year through an agency working 3 terms at 3 different education establishments.
