Aspire People are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant school in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Year 6 students in preparation for their transition to secondary school, supporting them academically and personally for the rest of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and effective lessons in all core subjects for Year 6.
Prepare students for their end-of-year assessments, providing targeted revision and support.
Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth.
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Promote independence, responsibility, and resilience as students prepare for the next stage of their education.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Year 6 or upper key stage 2.
Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
Passionate about helping students reach their full potential and achieve their best results.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
