Position: Year 5 TeacherLocation: Northfield, Birmingham

About the Role:
Our client, a welcoming and well-established primary school in Northfield, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for delivering the Year 5 curriculum, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the academic and social development of all students.
* Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies, promoting a respectful and orderly learning environment.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities to contribute to the overall school community.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* A valid DBS check on the update service.
* Experience teaching at the primary level, ideally within Key Stage 2.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal development of every student.
