Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Year 5 Teacher to join a thriving school in Shrewsbury for the remainder of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real impact on students as they prepare for their transition to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
Provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and academic achievement.
Support and challenge students to reach their full potential.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching practices and a cohesive learning experience.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Year 5 or within Key Stage 2.
Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
Passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
