Job description
Are you a dedicated and experienced Year 5/6 Primary Teacher looking to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in the heart of Nottingham?As a Year 5/6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of the students. You will deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. With a focus on fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, you will contribute to the school's mission of nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped for success both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 5 or Year 6 students.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
* Utilise effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging curriculum initiatives.
* Maintain open communication with parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on Year 5/6 or similar age group.
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
