Year 4/5 Teacher (Mixed Class) - Full Time📍 Telford
📅 Immediate Start | Until End of Academic Year | Potential for Permanent Role
Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, rural-feel primary school in Telford for an experienced and adaptable Year 4/5 Teacher to lead a mixed-age Key Stage 2 class on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident KS2 practitioner who thrives in a supportive, community-focused environment and has experience managing mixed-age classes.

The Role
As the Year 4/5 Teacher, you will:
Take full classroom responsibility for a mixed Year 4 and Year 5 class
Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Effectively manage planning and progression for two year groups
Use assessment data to inform teaching and raise attainment
Provide tailored support and differentiation, including for pupils with SEN
Foster independence, resilience, and a positive classroom culture
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Has experience planning for mixed-age or mixed-ability classes (desirable)
Has strong knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and organisational skills
Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to raising standards
