Job Description:
Josh of Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our team at Aspire People Ltd, working with a good school in Handsworth.
The school has been rated as "Good" by Ofsted and offers a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for teaching a mixed ability class, which includes some EAL (English as an Additional Language) students who will receive support from an intervention teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons for Year 2 students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning needs of all students.
Work collaboratively with the intervention teacher to ensure the progress of EAL students.
Monitor and track the academic and social development of all students in the class.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Implement the school's policies and procedures and contribute to the overall school community.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Year 2 students, including mixed-ability classes.
Knowledge and experience working with EAL students is an advantage.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
