Year 2 Teacher - BL4, BoltonFull-Time | Long-Term Position
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 1 and driven to raise attainment in a nurturing learning environment.
Year 2 Teacher - The Role
As Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that prepare pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments while fostering a love of learning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
* Preparing pupils for SATs assessments with confidence and support
* Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress effectively
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Year 2 Teacher - The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent classroom management skills
* High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
