Job Title: Year 1 Teacher - Temporary to PermanentLocation: Telford, Shropshire
Start Date: ASAP ideally, or September start available
About the Role
A lovely and welcoming primary school in Telford is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team. The school would ideally like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, but they are also happy to consider a September start for the right person.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to become a long-term member of a supportive and friendly school community.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents
Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable)
Be enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to high-quality teaching
Have strong classroom management skills
Be a team player with excellent communication skills
