Aspire People are recruiting Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Monmouth and the wider South Wales area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while using your Welsh language skills daily.
The Role
As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils through the medium of Welsh on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
Help pupils develop their language skills, confidence, and independence
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Welsh-speaking learning environment
Requirements
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
