Aspire People are recruiting Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to work in primary and secondary schools across Cardiff, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Caerphilly, Newport, Merthyr, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Monmouthshire, and the Heads of the Valleys. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while using your Welsh language skills daily.
The Role
As a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classrooms and ensure lessons run smoothly through the medium of Welsh
Support pupils with learning and behaviour management
Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and deliver engaging activities
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Welsh-speaking learning environment
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
Requirements
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
Confident classroom management skills
Patient, calm, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
