Our students, who have been removed from mainstream schools, require a highly individualized approach to learning and personal development. We are committed to creating a positive, safe, and engaging space for students to overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.

Individualised Assistance: Helping to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and specific learning strategies tailored to the needs of each student.

Personal Development: Encouraging students to engage in their learning and promoting social, emotional, and behavioural development both in and outside the classroom.

Monitoring Progress: Observing and recording students' progress, providing feedback to teachers, and contributing to reviews of student development.

Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality support for each student.

Communication: Building positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly those with behavioural and emotional difficulties.

A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to students' individual needs.

A solid understanding of effective behaviour management techniques and the ability to implement them consistently.

Excellent communication skills, both with students and adults, including teachers, parents, and colleagues.

A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.

An understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment for all students.

(Desirable) Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or other relevant training/experience in SEN.

Why Join Us?

Work in a supportive and inclusive environment with a dedicated and passionate team.

Opportunities for continuous professional development and career progression.

A chance to make a real impact in the lives of students with complex needs.

Competitive salary and benefits.

A rewarding and fulfilling role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help students grow and succeed.
