SEND Teaching Assistant-Newtown, BirminghamAre you a Teaching Assistant looking for a role for the new academic year?
I am currently recruiting for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to support a class of 5 3-4 year olds in Newtown, starting a long-term position in September for the academic year. You will be working 5 days a week and will be helping to support children with communication needs and/or Autism (ASD) alongside another TA.
As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:
*Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
*Minimum Level 2/3 Supporting, Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) qualification
*Knowledge of Makaton is desirable.
*Experience with additional needs
*To be able to create EHCP plans to support the children's development
This is an excellent opportunity to work in lovely Nursery school. Steph will be available 24/7 for you should you need support with anything.
