Teaching Assistant Position - Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full-Time 8:45am - 3:15pm
Location: St Albans District.
Contract: Fixed Term Contract.
Sector: Primary School.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join a lower Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 1 team in September 2025. We are looking for a person who wishes to become a part of our school team and contribute to the success of the school as a whole. The client school are proud of their most recent Ofsted visit which showed no areas for improvement and are looking to appoint someone who wishes to continue this high standard.

Although this post is initially fixed term, there is a strong possibility of it becoming permanent.

Experience of working with children with a range of Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential.

We value professional development and a willingness to take part in staff training and INSET days would be preferable. You will be joining a supportive team who work hard to ensure that the children in the school achieve well and enjoy school. This position will also include a half hour of lunchtime duty.

We offer all staff a wellbeing day each academic year.

Our client school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
