Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant based in Great Barr with experience in teaching phonics and interventions?
I am currently recruiting for a school based in Great Barr who is seeking an experienced TA with knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. The post is to start as soon as possible and will finish in July 2024 with potential to stay for the next academic year if the school feel you are the correct fit.
For this role you will be closely focusing on teaching Phonics and giving interventions for those who require extra support. Therefore, experience with knowledge of the KS1 curriculum is essential and beneficial to the role. You will also be supporting the class teacher in helping track pupils learning and guiding those who need support.
This school is keen for innovative, passionate teachers to move them forward with the times. This role is a critical credit towards the school achieving their goal of becoming Ofsted outstanding. It is a lovely, small school-with two classes per year, staff members can know each child individually and uniquely with an extremely supportive team of staff that aim to build pupils positive self-esteem and equip the children with the skills needed for lifelong learning. The successful TA will be nurturing, patient and will genuinely want to make a difference.
