Job description
Are you passionate about supporting young learners? Do you have a natural ability to engage and motivate students?We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant on a supply basis to join our team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a variety of schools, providing valuable support to teachers and students across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them to reach their full potential.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring inclusion and progress.
Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and productive environment for learning.
Assist with the preparation of learning resources and administrative tasks when needed.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A flexible and adaptable attitude to working in a variety of classroom settings.
A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
