SEN Teaching assistant - South BirminghamAre you an experienced SEN teaching assistant looking for a new challenge?
I am currently recruiting for a large special school based in South Birmingham that are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to join their team. The position is on a long term basis with a view to go permanent for the right candidates. The school are seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant with experience working with SEN children.
The school is very large and caters for children with a wide range of SEN needs including autism, MLD, SLD, ADHD, global delay and PMLD. The school are very supportive with their staff and offer CPD and training to support you in your role. Class sizes are considerably smaller than mainstream schools.

-Qualified and experienced teaching assistants
-For you to be able to provide two references
-Hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one

I have been working with this school for three years and it is also a school I have worked at myself. The school really cares for their pupils and staff and even though it is very large, there is a big sense of a family environment. There is a lot of CPD and training available whilst working at this school.
One teaching assistant I have placed here has said "it is a challenging school, but the support is amazing and everyone always helps each other. They really care about the children here also".
