As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you would be treated as one of the team and schools would expect the following:
Continuously raising standards for our pupils and improving their outcomes and life chances
Being creative, proactive, resourceful, energetic and very well organised
Working within a caring and safe environment and reflecting the school's priority of placing pupils at the heart of all it does

Team Teach qualification would also be advantageous.
We have built up an excellent relationship with a number of provisions across the region and have placed many candidates in these schools, some of whom have had the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. As these roles involve working with pupils who are not able to access education in mainstream schools, the behaviour can be difficult. We do look for candidates who have strong personalities, be able to work through issues the pupils display and be able to stand up to the physical demands of the work.
Aspire People will offer fantastic rates of pay, support from your consultant and the chance of building relationships with a range of SEND Schools throughout the area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a positive environment where you will have the chance to build upon or gain further experience. We offer very good rates of pay and a supportive consultant who is available 24/7 should you need me.
I am keen to talk to qualified Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, or those who are looking for a career in education who have experience of children with challenging behaviour. If this is the opportunity you have been looking for please apply and I will be in touch to discuss your requirements and the role available in more detail.
