Job descriptionAre you a Teaching Assistant who would like to work in Primary or SEN schools?
I am currently recruiting bank staff to work in Primary and SEN schools across Leicestershire. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking to gain further experience working in SEN and Primary Education. The role can be ad hoc day to day, short and long term so you can work across several schools. Longer term work can be available should this be your aim and for the right person.
We have built up an excellent relationship with a number of schools across the region and have placed many candidates with them. Some of whom have had the opportunity to become permanent members of staff. Generally SEN schools are very supportive and look to provide continuity as well as consistency for their pupils. SEN schools are a calm, friendly and welcoming environments.
As a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, you would be treated as one of the team and they would expect the following:
*Working with individual pupils
*Supporting the pupil in line with their individual plan
*Support classes as directed
*Follow the policies of the school including behaviour
*Work collaboratively with other members of staff
