The school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their warm and welcoming team from after Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a supportive, collaborative environment.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support, plan, and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects. You will also lead targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions, contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to boost pupil progress
* Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
* Prepare, organise, and maintain classroom resources and learning materials
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
* Support children's social development and emotional wellbeing
* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
* Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress as required

* A recognised qualification or equivalent experience
* Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school
* Strong understanding of child development and effective classroom practice
* Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
* A proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
