Aspire People are looking for a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Shrewsbury, starting ASAP. This is a full-time, temporary position, where you will be supporting students across all year groups and providing essential SEN (Special Educational Needs) support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the learning of students across all year groups.
Provide targeted support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Help manage classroom activities, behaviour, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support, focusing on academic and social development.
Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
Support the personal development and well-being of all students, including those with additional needs.
About You:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
Willingness to work across different year groups and provide SEN support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive approach to learning and supporting students with various needs.
