Nursery - Year 1 Teaching Assistant (September) - Stoke-On-TrentAre you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have experience working with children aged Nursery to Year 1? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join Aspire to work in schools across Stoke-On-Trent.
We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Nursery - Year 1 Teaching Assistants to join Aspire People. This position is available from September, offering an excellent platform for you to showcase your support skills and make a difference to pupils' education.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities for children in Nursery to Year 1.
* Provide support to students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
* Assist with the preparation and organization of learning resources and materials.
* Help supervise students during break times and off-site activities.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
* Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the well-being and progress of students.
* Uphold and promote the school's values, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with Nursery to Year 1 age group.
* A passion for working with young children and a genuine desire to support their development.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children.
* A proactive and flexible approach to meet the needs of the students and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
