Contract: Long-Term (for the remainder of the academic year)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Location: Shrewsbury, UK
Salary: Competitive (Based on experience)

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact on children's education and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering the curriculum to students across a variety of subjects and age groups.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, especially those who require additional help, including children with special educational needs (SEN).
Help with the preparation of classroom resources and activities that engage students and promote active learning.
Support the management of classroom behavior, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks, including setting up learning materials, marking work, and recording progress.
Encourage children's social and emotional development, helping them build relationships with peers and teachers.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students' learning and personal development.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A proactive and adaptable attitude, willing to respond to the varying needs of the classroom.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
