I am looking to recruit dedicated and passionate Maths teachers who have the desire to truly make an impact in the classroom. This subject is not always an easy one for pupils so the ability to make it interesting, understandable and even fun, yes fun, is the challenge.
I have been working with schools based in Rugby for the past 7 years and have been assisting them with their recruitment requirements during this time. My relationship with them is based on my knowledge of the school and my ability to ensure I get the right teacher for the school and it's pupils.
Can you project your subject knowledge, skills and experience to students, motivate, encourage and stimulate their minds? Do you want to ensure their needs in the classroom are met and that they take away something useful from their lessons no matter what their learning abilities are?
I have placed many teachers in these schools who have gone on to more permanent positions so I know from experience that there are opportunities if you are looking.
These are full time roles so you must be willing to take on the full responsibilities.
As a full time Maths teacher the schools will want you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:
« Teach Maths at KS3 & KS4 and follow the national curriculum
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & meetings.
« Be part of the whole school community.
« Help to keep all pupils safe and make the environment a safe one.
