Aspire People are looking for a Qualified Teacher to cover a lovely Year 1 class from October 2020Ongoing.
Our client is a small Primary School based in Warwickshire and they are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified Teacher to cover a good year 1 class.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
o Make a distinctive contribution to raising standards within Year 1 and across the school.
o Support and help colleagues to improve effectiveness.
o Set clear and challenging targets that build on prior attainment for each pupil.
o Ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their potential and meet their highest expectations.
o Set, track, evaluate and report on progress towards individual pupil targets.
o Use own class and practice as an example of outstanding teaching and learning.
o Develop plans that identify clear targets, times-scales and success criteria for its development and/or maintenance in line with the School Improvement Plan.
o Secure and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
o Collect, analyse and report on pupils' views of their subject area.
Qualifications and Professional Development
Qualified teacher status
Evidence of previous teaching experience in a primary school
Desirable
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Willingness to undergo further training
Evidence of knowledge of recent initiatives and issues in education
