Job description
Teacher of Science - 0.6FTE - WarwickshireI am assisting this popular school in Warwickshire to appoint a Teacher of Science. The school are looking for an enthusiastic and motivating teacher with any specialism considered to join their
committed and experienced department.
The Science department is driven towards excellent with strong leadership consisting of a Head of
Science who is supported by a second in department, the department has a further six Science
Teachers, one of which is responsible for STEM and is the Professional outreach Co-Ordinator. The
team are supported by a Senior Science Technician and a Science Technician.
A new KS3 is currently being implemented containing whole lessons plans which have been written
by the members of the department. KS4 students follow the AQA programme for either Combined
Science Trilogy or AQA GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics. KS5 students follow the AQA
programme for A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
