A reputable secondary school in Rossendale is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of RE/Humanities to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary on the MPS/UPS payspine for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE and Humanities lessons to students of varying abilities.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in RE and Humanities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to RE and Humanities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Religious Education, Humanities, or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching RE and/or Humanities at the secondary level.
Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
