Job description
Are you an experienced Psychology Teacher based in the Banbury or surrounding area looking for a good school?The school I am currently recruiting for are looking for an experienced Psychology Teacher. You will be required to teach KS5. The job, based at this fabulous independent school, starts early September and will be continue up until Christmas, they are looking for the right person to slot into the department and really hit the ground running.
I have been working with this school for a little while now and I can honestly say that every single Teacher has only positive things to say about the school and staff. You would be joining a team of staff who are friendly and welcoming and the SLT team is hugely supportive. The school really does look after their staff both permanent and temporary and go above and beyond to help the learning and development of both students and staff.
At the moment this is a part-time role but may develop into full time at some stage.
As a Psychology Teacher the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:
* Teach Psychology A-Level
* Assess, mark and plan lessons.
* Assess achievements of pupils.
* Provide progress reports and attend parent's evening & department meetings.
* Adhere to all behaviour policies that may be in place.
