Teacher of MathsFull time
I require a Maths teacher who is dedicated and passionate and has the desire to truly make an impact in the classroom. This subject is not always an easy one for pupils so the ability to make it interesting, understandable and even fun, yes fun is the challenge.
The school I am recruiting for is a faith school and I have worked closely with the Deputy Head for several years and she trusts me to ensure I get the right teacher for the school and it's pupils. The school has a wonderful ethos and work ethic with a very calm environment in which to teach. the pupils want to learn and are eager to learn and teachers can be heard without raising their voices.
Staff just don't leave this school, they progress within their role which speaks volumes. They are valued and appreciated.

This is a full time role so you must be willing to take on full responsibilities.
As a full time Maths teacher the school will want you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected;
« Teach Maths at KS3 & KS4 and follow the national curriculum
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & meetings.
« Be part of the whole school community.
« Help to keep all pupils safe and make the environment a safe one.
