Job descriptionAre you a Teaching Assistant who would like to work in SEN schools?
The school I am recruiting for are looking for flexible, committed and caring TA's who can join a bank of staff to help support them on a daily basis. There are a range of assignments available working on a ad hoc basis but those who make a positive impression will have the chance for repeat opportunities and long-term contracts. The school have a high level of individual needs, so personal care might also be involved. General SEN TA's are required however the school do have a specific need for staff who a trained in Moving and Handling.
The school has a very positive and friendly outlook with a very supportive SLT. It is very welcoming to everyone who works there and the feedback I have received from candidates has been glowing.
As a SEN TA you would be treated as one of their team and they would expect the following:
*Support classes as directed
*Follow the policies of the school including behaviour
*Take an active role within class
*Work collaboratively with other members of staff
