KS2 Teacher - St AlbansPosition: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Start Date: April 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join a thriving and supportive primary school in the heart of St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young learners. As a KS2 teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
-Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
-Monitor and track students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
-Collaborate with colleagues to create and deliver effective teaching strategies.
-Encourage a love of learning and support students in developing key skills and knowledge.
-Ensure that safeguarding and pastoral care standards are met, creating a safe and supportive environment.
-Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and professional development opportunities.
About You:
-A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
-Experience teaching in KS2, with a proven track record of success and positive outcomes for pupils.
-A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring children to achieve their best.
-Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate for the needs of all learners.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
-A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and strategies.
-A commitment to ongoing professional development.
