Key Responsibilities:
-Teach English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience).
-Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that encourage a love of literature and language.
-Support students in developing their writing, reading, and analytical skills.
-Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
-Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
-Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.
-Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff development opportunities.
-Contribute to curriculum development and the implementation of new teaching strategies.
About You:
-A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
-A passion for English, literature, and language, with a deep understanding of the curriculum.
-Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
-A proven track record of supporting students to achieve academic success.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
-A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a commitment to providing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
-A commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
