Job Title: Specialist Teaching AssistantLocation: Shrewsbury
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Aspire People are working with a specialist school in Shrewsbury to find experienced Teachers to join the team. As a Specialist Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored educational programs that meet the needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure pupils continue to develop.
* Ensure a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages learning.
* Manage students behaviours, ensuring to follow the schools policies.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working in a specialist or SEN school setting is highly desirable.
* A deep understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
