Job description
Special Needs Teaching AssistantAre you a qualified and experienced teaching assistant of children with special needs? Would you like to work with SEND children and make a positive difference to their lives?
I am currently recruiting for a small special school in Birmingham which caters for children with a wide range of SEND. This may include ASD, PMLD, SLD, MLD and downs syndrome
.
The school are looking for hands on teaching assistants with the ability to think for themselves and get stuck in.
The school are looking for teaching assistants to work long term with them and support their students and school.
The school have amazing facilities for their students and pride themselves on this. They are an OFSTED 'good' school and really value their staff. The school is well known for having continuous CPD and training for all staff members meaning you will be continuously growing and developing in your career.
I am looking for a teaching assistant who can bring energy and passion to this role. An experienced teaching assistant who has worked in challenging environments is essential. This is a challenging but exciting role.
I have worked with this school for a while and can honestly say they are so passionate about their school, students and staff.
One teaching assistant placed here said "I have really enjoyed my time at this school and would love to go back there. It is ran very well and the facilities for children is fantastic."
