Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 and above qualification? Do you have a deep commitment to nurturing and educating young children in a private nursery setting? If so, we want you to join our team!Position Overview: As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in the development of the children under your care. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment while ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and happiness. This position requires someone with a Level 3 and above qualification and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
* Provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress
* Uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery
Requirements:
* Level 3 and above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Passion for working with children and a genuine commitment to their development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
